Founding Visionary
Started Prajapati Industries with a small workshop in Korukupet, Chennai, specializing in handcrafted heavy-gauge Wire S-Chairs. His relentless focus on structural thickness and unbreakable welded joints established the firm as the benchmark for durability throughout Tamil Nadu.
Expansion & Scaling
Spearheaded the mechanization of factory operations, introducing hydraulic pipe benders and electrostatic powder coating ovens. He expanded the catalog into folding guest beds, heavy-duty tape cots, and cinema recliners, establishing wholesale institutional supply across South India.
Modern Ergonomics & Direct Access
Son of Jamuna Prasad, Deepak is bringing contemporary industrial design to the heritage line. Under his stewardship, Prajapati Industries developed ultra-compact folding recliners, breathable weather-proof canvas fabrics, and direct factory-to-doorstep digital ordering.
Founder & Pioneer
“A cot or chair should be solid enough that you never think about its strength. When a customer sits, they should feel certainty.” That original engineering principle still governs every weld bead made in our Chennai workshop today.
Managing Director & Head of Operations
“We continue our grandfather's commitment to honest materials, while engineering furniture for today's urban spaces—compact foldability, effortless portability, and modern coastal durability.”
Unlike mass-market furniture imported from overseas with paper-thin hollow pipes, our workshop executes every step under direct human supervision in Korukupet, Chennai.
Heavy gauge steel pipes selected for optimal strength-to-weight ratio that never bends or kinks under load.
Continuous circumferential seam welds on all load points, eliminating the wobble and squeaks of pop-riveted frames.
Electrostatic epoxy powder coating baked in high-temp ovens for chip-proof, moisture-proof coastal resistance.
High-density virgin nylon webbing woven under calibrated manual tension, preventing sagging for years of daily use.
